prairie daze

claiming our daze and our days on the prairie

mother’s day rainbow

after a short night (with a child on each side, me thanking god for them since we were, after all, in the wee hours of mother’s day), a day full of yard work (i already feel muscles i forgot i had…but i am so excited that things that i transplanted are actually surviving), and now last minute things to do for work tomorrow, let me honor this day with some photos of the day…thanking the god of comfort and joy for the peace that mothering brings…in giving and receiving.

red

broken but still fun

and a little mid-day good news…

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend mothers day…those photos are wonderful, as always. I especially love the back of that poppy, amazing texture!
    Happy Mother Day to you!!
