prairie daze

claiming our daze and our days on the prairie

park escape

blue sky
missing the rain
time to kill spend
sticks for a bridge
sand for water

maybe it’s just because we are working with circles at preschool, but i found myself absolutely amazed that when one sits and lets her straight arms drag in the sand while torso twists, a seemingly perfect circle is formed…i am a little embarrased to think of how i must have looked…kids playing alone on the slide while mama sits herself on the sand going back and forth making a sandy circle…oh well.

but it’s so good to act like a kid once in a while!! Just sit and enjoy it. I love doing little things like that.

I think you rock. It takes a creative mama can sit down and explore that way. Love the photo of Eliza at the top of the slide!

HI! We always enjoy and would have liked to twist along with you, making circles in the sand. So good to see all of you … Time to get ready for the night – at 10 o’clock. Hello to all.
